Earthquake Ethel’s Roadhouse – Beaverton, Oregon
Before EDM, before rave culture, there was Earthquake Ethel’s—THE disco destination for Portland’s outer limits in the late ’70s and early ’80s. With thumping bass, flashing lights, and cocktails strong enough to make you dance to “Boogie Oogie Oogie,” Ethel’s was where the ground really shook.
The original was in Beaverton, but rumor has it satellite Ethels popped up in Portland and even Seattle—each one a glitter-drenched, polyester-fueled fever dream.
Whether you actually went or just want to look like you did, this tee brings the funked-up energy of a truly seismic night out.
Hand-screened in Seattle, Washington on a premium 100% cotton AS Colour tee by a real live human.
