RKCNDY – Seattle’s Grunge-Era Icon

Pronounced Rock Candy, this now-vanished venue was ground zero for Seattle’s grunge explosion. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Supersuckers, Gas Huffer, and the criminally underrated Zipgun all shredded this joint back when downtown still felt like the wild west.

Sabocat has lovingly re-created this ‘90s relic so you can remember the sweat, the smoke, and the sound—or just pretend you were there. We won’t tell.

Printed with a slightly distressed effect that’s not too ink-heavy, but still pops.
